2018 Pisoni Brut Classico Millesimato Trento

The brand new vintage of an excellent Champagne method sparkler from the cool, mountainous region of Trento at the base of the Alps. This estate produces a wonderful value of a Blanc de Blancs (100% Chardonnay) sparkling wine, especially for organic and biodynamically farmed fruit and the care taken in the cellar- the bottles are all riddled by hand! Tremendous quality with an Italian twist, this is one of our staples. 

We're excited to bring in the newest Pisoni release from the 2018 vintage in the mountainous region of Trento, where high elevation alpine vineyards have their temperatures moderated by Oro del Garda winds. Mmineral driven under its pure Chardonnay fruit flavors, with very fine, persistent bubbles and a clean finish that makes you keep wanting another sip. Extended lees contact add textural richness and complexity that is sure to improve over the next few years in bottle. Pair with anything- risotto, fish, fried chicken- or nothing at all!
