A captivating inaugural release, the GiaDomella ‘Emile's Red" Blend showcases the richness and depth of Alexander Valley’s historic terroir. This wine is a seamless fusion of elegance and power, shaped by the deft hands of winemaker Tami Collins.
In the glass, a deep garnet hue hints at the intensity within. The nose is layered and expressive, offering ripe black cherries, cassis, and dark plum, complemented by nuances of cedar, mocha, and baking spices from its aging in a mix of French and American oak.
The palate is generous and structured, with the plushness of Merlot leading the way, lending supple red berry and cocoa notes. The Cabernet Sauvignon anchors the blend with firm tannins, blackcurrant depth, and hints of graphite, while the Zinfandel adds a touch of juicy bramble fruit and spice, bringing lift and vibrancy.
