95 points, Antonio Galloni's Vinous. "Dark and complex with savory notes, violets and wild sage. Blackberries and charred tri-tip. Energetic and packed with dark fruit. Brooding nose leads to a refined and nuanced wine. Dynamic and balanced. Stunning syrah from the perfect vintage conditions. Drink with grilled lamb burgers or farro salad with feta and roast veggies."
