2019 Laird Family 'Jillian's Blend'

67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Syrah, 10% Merlot, 4% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot. Aged for 21 months in 35% new oak (30% is French and 5% American). Always one of our favorite Napa wines every year!

The dark ruby-red color is followed by a bouquet of boysenberry, black cherry, vanilla, and oak toast. This full-bodied red wine offers a beautifully complex palate with flavors of blackberry jam, sweet cherry, tart strawberry, and dark chocolate followed by a slightly chewy long finish. Enjoy this wine on its own or pair it with a smoked pulled pork sandwich. Drink now through 2031.  The Laird Family are the largest landowners in Napa, but they sell 95% of their fruit to other big name wineries, keeping only their favorite parcels to themselves to make these wines under their own family name.
