100% certified organic Vilana. This rare grape indigenous to the island comes from an organically farmed, single estate-owned vineyard which was first planted in 1906. The vineyard lies over 1000 feet above sea level, and the clay-based soil is rich in minerals and even fossilized sea shells. Fermented and aged in stainless steel. Smells like a fresh island breeze! Pale golden color, a mix of botanics and faint floral muscat aroma which opens to a more fruity spicy spectrum. Viscous richness with an invigorating lemony thread on a well-rounded bone dry palate. Light in body with high acidity. Nikos Gavalas is a third generation winemaker on this property.
