85% Furmint, 15% Hárslevelu farmed biodynamically (uncertified) and sourced from estate vineyards in the towns of Mád and Bodrogkeresztur. All are historically important grand cru sites including Henye, Percze, Becsek, and the great Lapis. Hand harvested and gently pressed. Wild yeasts spur natural fermentation in 500 liter Hungarian oak barrels. Only 2,000 cases made. In addition to owning Domaine Huet in Vouvray, the Hwang family owns one of the most historic estates in Hungary – Királyudvar (The Kings Court). Known for their glorious sweet wines, Királyudvar has been a pioneer in producing amazing dry and sparkling wines from the Furmint grape. This is a beautifully intriguing wine- light but rich, complex yet easy drinking. Soft citrus, crisp apple, crushed herbs, high acidity and a mineral core. 12.5%.
