100% organic Nebbiolo grapes from the vineyards of the Borgata Serra dei Turchi. Sees only 6-8 months in oak to distinguish it from its Barolo bretheren. The esteemed Sergio Molino is the enologist. The 10-hectare Azienda, located in La Morra, produces about 40,000 bottles per year. Osvaldo helped his grandfather farm grapes to sell from their vineyards. His father began making wine but not bottling. In 1993, Osvaldo took control and began bottling and marketing his wine. Today, he is joined in this endeavor by his wife Carla and children Paolo and Anna. Ruby red in colour, with hints of flowers, roses and violets, it is fine and elegant with soft tannins (for Nebbiolo, at least).
