Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot & Petit Verdot; farmed sustainably. The winery is located south of Izmir province near the Aegean coast in the village of Kaynaklar. Hand harvested, destemmed and crushed. Fermented with indigenous yeast in stainless steel tank with 3 weeks of pump overs. Aged 12 months in 1 year old French oak barrels. This smooth, full bodied Bordeaux blend pours a dark ruby red and shows off rich dark cherry, blackcurrant and blackberry fruit alongside nicely integrated oak notes of vanilla and cedar and earthy tobacco and spice. Plenty of structure here with high acidity and tannin- this will show its best with an hour’s aeration and a bold meal. Drinks like riper Bordeaux. Excellent quality to price ratio- give Turkish wine a try!
