2021 Roark Zinfandel

100% organic Zinfandel (well almost- there’s a little Alicante Bouschet)  from the Old Oak Vineyard. The block the Zinfandel comes from has a few Alicante Bouschet vines mixed in amongst the rows, adding some complexity to an already interesting wine. The vineyard has been farmed organically and has been dry farmed since planting, adding more interesting layers to the mix.Fermented with native yeasts, bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur. This Zinfandel is not your typical California style, rich and big and in your face. It’s low in alcohol (13.1%), fresh and vibrant, with tons of bright berry fruit and soft tannins.
