2022 Château Rosan Côtes de Provence Blanc ‘Elégance’

100% certified organic Rolle (aka Vermentino). Hand harvested, soft pressed and vinified entirely in stainless steel. 

This is a lovely, summery white that shows off aromas of flowery fresh Granny Smith apples right off of the tree, alongside riper fruits like fresh pear, peach and melon. The palate is round, rich and smooth, with more citrus showing than on the nose. Fanatastic balance of acidity, fruit and body here. Very food friendly- try with any type of seafood, especially off the grill!

Château Rosan is a fifth generation estate in the municipalities of Pignans and Gonfaron, with a breathtaking view of the Massif des Maures, and the chapel of Notre Dame des Anges. Built around an old plastering facility, it still houses two lime kilns and a gypsum mine. The clay-limestone soils, typical sunny and windy Mediterranean climate, and dedication to organic farming provide the perfect conditions for grapes.
