100% Pinot Grigio - from Slovenia - just across the border from Friuli, Italy. Dry farmed using sustainable practices. Made from perfectly ripe grapes that were picked THREE separate times throughout September. This Pinot Grigio was cold macerated, ML, 6 months of lees aging in termperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and only coarsley fined and filtered before bottling. Starting with a delightful rosy hue typical of the grape when allowed brief skin contact, this dry wine delivers everything wine lovers expect from Pinot Grigio - and much, much more! The nose offers ripe pear, green melon and floral notes, while the creamy quality given by lees aging round out the experience on the palate with a sensational and lushess you don't expect from a Pinot Grigio.
