Handpicked and fermented with native yeasts- it starts fermentation via carbonic maceration, a technique that gives it brightness and vibrancy. After 10 days, it was destemmed and fermented on the skins for a few days to give it color and structure. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur. This delicious wine drinks lighter than the label’s suggested 14% alcohol- it’s like a cross between Beaujolais and right-bank Bordeaux. There’s tons of lively, juicy red fruit and Merlot’s characteristic cherry pit note backed up by plenty of peppery, woodsy, spicy Bordeaux like notes. Juicy acidity and a smooth texture make it go down easy. Feel free to give it a slight chill!
