2023 Borgo Maragliano Moscato d’Asti DOCG

100% sustainably farmed Moscato from the oldest vines on the property. This classically styled Moscato d’Asti is light bodied, low in alcohol (~5%), sweet and delicately fizzy. Intense, pure varietal aromas and flavors of mango, pear, nectarine, white flowers, thyme and honey.  Manages to be refreshing and gulbaple despite the sweetness. The wine is especially suitable for accompanying desserts- Moscato d’Asti and good vanilla ice cream are a sure winner! Borgo Maragliano’s 65 acres of vineyards sit 1500’ above sea level, in the heart of Loazzolo on a natural terrace in the Langhe hills. The fifth generation of the Galliano family now farms this estate, first purchased in 1850. A really high quality expression of Moscato!
