2023 Cantina Terlano Pinot Bianco

100% sustainably grown Pinot Biano from the village of Terlano, located halfway between the South Tyrol’s main towns of Merano and Bolzano. Hand harvested, gently pressed and fermented with native yeasts only, aged on the lees in steel for 6 months. 13.5% alcohol.  Their Piinot Bianco has earned a reputation as one of the region’s standout white wines, with great aging potential - if you can resist the urge to drink it all now! Classically styled, this absolutely shimmers on the palate with pristine notes of yellow pear and apple, crisp acidity, and a beautifully rounded mineral-driven texture that provides a luxurious mouthfeel while remaining elegantly chiseled. Founded in 1893, Cantina Terlan has grown into one of the leading wine growers’ cooperatives in the Alto Adige region of northeastern Italy, with a 143 growers farming a total area of 415 acres.
