100% Pinot Noir from various old vine parcels. Hand harvested, fully destemmed and fermented and aged simply in stainless steel. Fantastic value on quality red Burgundy. Appealing aromas of grilled plum, blackberry, baking spices. The palate is round and graceful, with flavors of dark cherry, blueberry, pomegranate,bramble berries with black plum skin tannins all the way through the slightly earthy/mushroomy finish. This is a true family estate, now run by the dynamic husband-and-wife team of Damien and Sophie Martin. Since taking over in 2010, they’ve painstakingly grown the domaine their father started in 1975 from just 5 acres to 65, all nestled at the foot of the iconic Rocks of Solutré and Vergisson.
