100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged eight months in neutral French oak. 14.5% alcohol. 1458 cases produced. This wine really overdelivers for the price- it’s classic Oak Knoll Cab, pouring a dark, inky purple black and full of dark, ripe fruits, punchy tart cherries, dried flowers and mellow vanilla an dark chocolate notes. Medium to full bodied but very balanced and almost understated, with drying tannins and medium-plus acidity. ,Lúuma is a collaboration between three wineries (Subject to Change, Inizi Wines and Scribe Winery) and the excellent distributor Revel. Excellent quality fruit, minimal intervention winemaking, ready to drink styles, and very, very good prices. The name honors the Miwok village of Péta Lúuma, now known as Petaluma.
