2023 Meadowcroft Pinot Noir Russian River Valley

100% Pinot Noir.  Aged in 25% new French oak. 13.5% alcohol. 756 cases made. Densely concentrated, with inviting aromatics of cranberry, pomegranate, black cherry, and and subtle herbal notes along hints of citrus. The mouthfeel is vibrant from the notable acidity. Layered flavors of cherry cola, notes of black licorice, and ripe fresh cherries.  Tom is all about top vineyard pedigree, limited production, and Old World winemaking. Back when he was planning vineyards and pruning vines for some of the most iconic properties in California—names like Opus One, Cakebread, Duckhorn, Stags Leap—he dreamed of founding his own project based on these principles. To say that his connections have come in handy is the understatement of the year.
