50% Mourvèdre, 45% Primitivo, 5% Barbera; farmed organically at Shake Ridge Vineyard, considered one of the best in the AVA. Native yeast fermentation, aged in steel and neutral barrel. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with very low (28mg/L) sulphur. 12% alcohol. 140 cases made. This is lip-smackingly good, with flavors that remind you of salted pink lemonade mixed with strawberry juice and hibscus tea. Tangy and super fresh, this is a great wine for soft cheese or fish. Closer to a chillable red than your average pink wine. Winemaker Hardy Wallace calls this the “BLT” wine- bright, long, and textured. You can drink this over the next few years. These wines are small production and highly sought after- we’ll drink anything Hardy makes!
