Equal parts Gamay, Grolleau, Pinot Noir all from Chidaine’s estate-grown, biodynamically farmed vineyards located just north of the Cher river between the villages of Montrichard & Chissay-en-Touraine. Hand harvested, direct pressed with native yeast fermentations in stainless steel. Aged on the lees until bottling in the estate’s cold limestone cellars. Minimal sulphur additions. Medium bodied, crisp, and vibrant with red berry fruit—think strawberry, raspberry, and red currant—layered with citrus zest and a delicate floral note. Dry and refreshing, with a clean mineral finish. Definitely a cut above your average pink wine. François Chidaine is one of the Loire Valley’s most respected vignerons, renowned for his biodynamic farming and benchmark Chenin Blancs from Montlouis and Vouvray.
