A blend of Pinot Noir, Gamay, Cabernet Franc, Négrette, farmed sustainably and sourced from vineyards in the Fiefs Vendéens appellation, located near the Atlantic coast. Direct pressed and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel. 12.5% alcohol. Aromatic layers of wild strawberries, red currants, and citrus zest are complemented by subtle floral notes and a hint of sea breeze. Light to medium-bodied with a crisp acidity, the palate reveals flavors of red berries, watermelon, and a touch of minerality. The texture is smooth, leading to a refreshing and balanced profile. Clean and lingering, with echoes of red fruit and a delicate saline note that reflects its coastal origin. Vignobles Mourat was created in 1974. The 150 acres of vineyards on the hillsides of the Loire Valley, are 12 miles from the Atlantic ocean, between Nantes and la Rochelle.
