NV Caves Nadal Brut Reserva 'Original' Corpinnat

47% Parellada, 27% Xarel.lo and 26% Macabeu, all estate grown, dry farmed and organically farmed. From the 2017, 2016 and 2015 harvests. Made in the Champagne method and aged on the lees for 24 months.  5g/L residual sugar.

Tasting Notes

This wine has very fine bubbles that tickle your palate and nose. It offers a complex bouquet of white fruits, such as apple and pear, with a hint of nuts like almond and hazelnut. On the mouth, it is delicate, fresh and structured, with a balanced acidity and a long finish. A perfect wine to celebrate any occasion or to pair with light dishes.

About Caves Nadal

Can Nadal Boadella was founded in the early 16th century. The parchment signed by the notary Francesch Berthomeu in 1510 certifies the ownership by Pere Nadal of an estate located in the municipality of Torrelavit. According to historical documents, the Nadal Estate has passed from father to son, faithful to the catalan tradition of the family heir. It has never ceased to grow grapes and make wine, even during the most difficult years of the Spanish Civil War (1936-39), when part of the estate was expropriated to build an airfield. They bottled their first sparkling wine in 1943, after Ramon Nadal Giró built an underground cellar and reclaimed that air strip back to vines.  Sustainable viticulture and production techniques have been a way of life at the Nadal estate since its foundation in 1943. All fruit is dry farmed and organically grown. The third generation of Nadals is currently at the helm.
