There’s literally no information out there about this brand- but some digging around led me to the conclusion that it was a brand made by Jean-Claude Boissetin their sparkling wine facility in Nuits-Saint Georges. For whatever reason, the brand winked out of existence, even on the internet, but the wine is delicious and well priced! All we know is that it follows the rules for Crémant- at least 30% Pinot Noir, and no more than 30% Gamay, with the rest a blend of Chardonnay and/or Pinot Blanc. It’s made in the Champagne method and spent at least 9 months on the lees. Light bodied, crisp and elegant, with raspberry, strawberry, rhubarb, pomegranate and pie crust. Dry but not bracingly bone dry, with a slight creaminess. Very good quality to price ratio.
