100% Lacrima di Morro d’Alba from 25 year old vines. Hand harvested and lightly pressed. Fermented in stainless steel. No malolactic. Aged six months on lees. 12% alcohol. 7/gl residual sugar. Only 6,000 bottles produced. Light, dry, fruity and crushable. Pours an awesome light neon pink color and shows aromas and flavors of strawberry, peach, roses and herbs. Great summer bubbles! Fruity yet exotic and concentrated, this wine is delightful paired with traditional salami and Italian cold cuts, roasted meats and grilled sausages. Mario Lucchetti began in the 1980s with the first acres of Lacrima di Morro d’Alba, one of the local indigenous varietals in this rural area of Le Marche in the province of Ancona, not far from the town of Jesi.
