60% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay, sourced from various plots in the Baye, Côteaux du Petit Morin, Vallée de la Marne, Côtes des Bars and the Côteaux du Sézannais. Handpicked and fermented in stainless steel; aged on the lees for 24 months. Amazing value Champagne from this grower-producer. Light to medium bodied, with a clean nose of pear, blood orange, honey and fresh bread. Dry, with excellent acidity and a long finish. In 1932 Gilberte & André Jacques settled in Baye. Gilberte took over the village’s cafe while André decided to plant their first vineyard. In 1962 Gisele & Yves Jacques continued to expand the estate and invested in the first press, a vat house and a cellar. In 1982 Valérie & Rémi took over the family business. MCM in roman numerals means 1900 so the cuvée 1932 echoes the winery’s first Meunier vine planted. by André in 1932.
