100% organic & hand harvested Promara, an ancient variety native to this region. Four days of skin contact during fermentation; aged on the lees in stainless steel for nine months before additional aging in French and American oak. Citrus, lemon curd, rose and other flowers on the nose. The medium-bodied palate continues with the same ingredients, adding some lychee and decent stony acidity. Oily mouthfeel and long finish, tapering towards acids and stony bitterness. A textured and aromatic, but still balanced take on the quite rare indigenous varietal. Only 1100 bottles made.
