This wine shows off a bold, expressive nose of dark berries and tons of floral notes along with leather and fresh earth and classic Syrah meatiness, almost like smoked bacon. Medium-plus bodied, with flavors aligning with the nose, brisk, bright acid and plush tannins. Greg Harrington spent his career overseeing some of the most prestigious wine programs in the country. After passing the MS exam at 26 years old (the youngest person ever at the time) he started to feel that his future in wine was the production side.
