2019 Parras 'Desafinado' Tinto

Yet another crazy value from Portugal. Simply delicious! Plump, juciy and loaded with red fruit, herbs, earth and spice. I couldn't believe the price of this wine. I could drink it ALL day! ~Mike Guerra

The Desafinado Douro red is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca, fermented in stainless steel and then aged for 8 months in French oak. In the glass, the wine shows a deep ruby color with purple highlights. On the nose, intense aromas of black berried fruit intermingle with spice and a dusty earthiness. Full-bodied and concentrated with soft tannins and a beautifully persistent, integrated acidity, the Desafinado delivers exceptional fruit intensity and minerality which lead into a complex finish with great length.
