2019 Vidovich Cabernet Sauvignon 'Lake Vineyard'

100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Lake Vineyard. Planted in 2006, this vineyard resides at a 450-foot elevation in Los Altos Hills, adjacent to a lake that was previously a quarry. The proximity of the lake regulates the temperature of the surrounding area, creating a unique microclimate. The soil composition in and around the former quarry consists primarily of gravelly loam with underlying clay, providing excellent drainage and promoting deep root growth.
