2020 Comartin Pinot Noir 'R Bar R Ranch'

100% Pinot Noir from the R-Bar-R Ranch, set at more than 1,200 feet elevation near Mount Madonna  at the southern tip of the SCM appellation. he wine was destemmed only & fermented as whole berries to preserve fruit and not over extract the seed tannin. Lastly, giving the wine extended time in barrel (25% new French oak) allowed the wine to soften and create a beautiful finish.

Light in the glass, it is vibrant on the nose, with aromas of dried red flowers, red plum, cracked pepper and bay leaf. The herbal array of bay leaf and menthol on the palate give depth to the baked red plum and vanilla ripeness."
