2020 E16 Petite Sarah 'Baby Rattlesnake Vineyard'

100% Petite Sirah sourced from a single vineyard located at 2400’ elevation. Sees 15 months on French oak. Only 221 cases made. This is big, bold, powerful, inky and dark, like Petite Sirah should be. It has a nose that could only be Petite Sirah, with fresh blueberries, pie crust, truffle and juniper. Lively across the palate, offering tension and texture with aromatic summer fruit and a dense, earthy structure. Rich but refreshing, spicy but playful at the same time. 14.5% alcohol.  Founded by 3rd generation winegrower Robert Jones, E16 is named after the highway leading to Robert’s original vineyard. The winemaker is Daniel Moore, the original winemaker for Martinelli Estate and Lynmar.
