40% Grenache Noir, 30% Syrah & 30% Mouvèdre farming is uncertified organic. Grapes are grown at more than 3,000’ above sea level, on the foothills of Mount Lebanon, in the Hadath Baalbeck area. Hand harvested into crates and sorted on tables. 100% destemmed, then fermented for 20-30 days in temperature controlled oak vats. Aged for 20-22 months in large oak vats and bottled unfined and unfiltered. 14.5% alcohol. This savory red wine shows off aromas and flavors of cranberry, black fruit, forest floor, sweet spice, licorice and a hint of gameiness. Medium to medium full bodied and bone dry, with still very present tannin and acid. For fans of old-school southern Rhône wines.
