90% Vermentino, 10% Biancu Ghjentile; farmed organically from estate vineyards on granite soils in the steep hills of Tizzano. Hand harvested, destemmed and sorted, direct pressing, stainless steel fermentation on fine lees with light batonnage. Pours a super light color with delicate aromas of lime, lemon, thyme and rosemary (hence the name “rosamarinu”). Light in body, dry, soft and refreshing, with quiet energy to its citrusy, herbal and slightly floral flavors. Long, mineral-driven finish. Sant Armettu is 90 acres of organically farmed vines, many of them local grapes that had fallen out of fashion - grapes such as Rimenese, Genovese, Biancu Ghjentile, Minustellu, and Aleaticu.
