100% organic Nebbiolo from the single ‘Le Coste’ vineyard in the Roero, just north of Barolo and Barbaresco and is best known for white wine. Winemaking follows Alberto Oggero’s minimalist philosophy, with indigenous yeast fermentation and often a submerged cap maceration (around 10-25 days) in steel tanks. The wine then ages for a significant period (often 10-14 months) in large, neutral Slovenian oak tonneaux. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulphur. B right red berries (raspberry, red cherry, wild strawberry), interwoven with classic Nebbiolo floral hints of rose petal and violet. As it opens, deeper aromas of fresh earth, subtle leather, hints of licorice, and a delicate tar or savory herb character emerge, reflecting its Roero terroir. On the palate, the wine is dry, structured, and beautifully balanced, showcasing a harmonious interplay between fruit, acidity, and refined tannins.
