50% Xarel.lo, 40% Macabeo and 10% Parellada farmed biodynamically from Raventos’s oldest vines planted using the goblet system in 1964 in the Vinya dels Fòssils. 12.25% alcohol. This is a pure, expression of the marine mineral soils of this vineyard, with no dosage. All winemaking is gravity flow and the wine spends a minimum of 30 months aging on the lees before disgorgement. On the nose, it has citrus zest aromas with notes of white flowers and ginger. Super focused on the palate with Meyer lemon, pear and bitter tonic flavors. A long, impressive finish that is nervy and energetic, leaving fresh, subtle herbal notes behind. Bone dry and very fresh. 2021 was a warm, dry and exceptional vintage.
