100% Grüner Veltliner from the legendary Ried Achleiten vineyard in Weissenkirchen. Smaragd indicates the top, dry, full-bodied tier of the Wachau region. Hand harvested in several vineyard passes, this sees a few hours of skin contact prior to pressing. Fermented in steel and aged in large wooden casks on the lees. 13.5% alcohol.
