2022 Herdade de Coelheiros Rosé

100% organic (uncertified) Syrah from southern Portugal. Aged in neutral French oak and stainless steel for six months prior to bottling. Light, fresh, and floral with notes of strawberry and mint. Super drinkable.  Herdade de Coelheiros is a family estate that has produced quality wines in the Alentejo since 1991. Inserted in the demarcated region of the Alentejo, the estate stretches for about 800ha, including 50ha of vineyards in selected plots, 40ha of walnut orchards and a vast area of unoccupied space where they freely graze sheep, deer and fallow deer. The vines are planted on granitic soils and are being converted to organic farming. In the cellar, Herdade de Coelheiros aims to intervene as little as possibe during the winemaking process to allow their grapes to reach their full, natural potential.
