48% Syrah, 21% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Petite Sirah. Aged 19 months in French and American oak barrels (90% French, 10% American, 75% new). 15.5% alcohol. 3,802 cases made. Formerly known as ‘Alec’s Blend,’ the new name tells you everything you need to know about this full bodied, bold and intense red. The nose is lifted and perfumed with underlying power, offering aromas of wild blackberry compote, tobacco leaves and dried herbs. The palate is full-bodied with finely integrated tannins and acidity, showing a velvety texture and notes of blackcurrants, roasted coffee beans and graphite. A powerful yet classy wine.  Lewis Cellars was founded in 1992 by former race car driver Randy Lewis and his family. They are located on the Silverado Trail in the Stags Leap district and are known for their bold reds.
