2022 Marchelle Growers Reserve Pinot Noir

100% Pinot Noir from a selection of vineyards across Sonoma and Mendocino counties. 14.5% alcohol. 285 cases made. The wine opens with vibrant aromatics of wild strawberry, pomegranate, and red currant, layered with rose petal, coastal sage, and a hint of sea breeze minerality from the high-altitude Manchester fruit. On the palate, a juicy core of raspberry and Bing cherry is framed by fine-grained tannins and a thread of savory spice from the Sonoma Mountain Dijon 777. The carbonic element adds a silky lift and playful brightness, while the Russian River component grounds the wine with supple texture and lingering notes of black tea and forest floor. Cofounder and winemaker Greg La Follette was mentored by André Tchelistcheff at Beaulieuin the early 1990s and was the founder of Flowers.
