100% certified sustainable Chardonnay from Martinelli’s estate vineyards in the Sonoma Coast. Whole cluster pressed and fermented with native yeasts. Full malolactic. Aged on the lees with daily battonage. 10 months in 50% new and 50% neutral French oak. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. 739 cases made. Delicious, full bodied but balanced and fresh, this is classic Cali Chard. Crisp apples, ripe pineapple, lemon zest, creamy oak notes of vanilla and butterscotch. Plenty of rich, buttery, malo and oak goodness but definitely not a butter bomb. Rich and fleshy but with plenty of acidity to back it up. The Martinelli family has been growing grapes in the Russian River Valley since the 1880s. and are now in the sixrth generation of the family to run the estate.
