90% Sangiovese and 10% Colorino Valdarno; sustainably farmed from the estate Crociferro vineyard in Rignano sull’Arno. Fermented with a selection of native yeasts in steel vats. 70% aged in stainless steel vats, 30% in large Slavonian oak casks. 14% alcohol. “Colli Fiorentini” is a sub-appellation reserved to the hills surrounding Florence. These wines are usually fruit-forward, with notes of cherry and fresh violets. Lots of cherry on the nose, followed by blackberry and cassis. Youthful on the palate, with loosely knit tannins. Slightly drying on the finish. In fact, it will pair equally well with soups, pasta or pizza, but if you’d like to go the traditional way, then we recommend grilled or braised meats, charcuterie and savory cheeses (like Pecorino Toscano).
