100% organic (uncertified) Pinot Gris from the Newlands Vineyard in the Polkadraai Hills. Hand harvested and fermented with native yeasts in concrete tanks with seven days of skin contact. Aged for eight months in 50hL concrete “squares.” 12.0% alcohol.Only 45ppm sulphur added. 1,250 cases made. Bright coral pink. Strawberry, melon, and pomegranate rise from the nose, with a hint of something smokey. The palate is mouth-watering and herbal, with raspberry and more strawberry flavors. This is a thirst-quenching, satisfying drop for lovers of light red or orange wines.
