2023 DeLille Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon

84% Cabernet Sauvignon and 16% Syrah. Aged for 18 months in 20% new French oak. 14.5% alcohol. The region’s long, sunny days allow fruit to ripen slowly, creating opulent flavors of dark fruit (black cherry and blackberry), espresso and dried herbs, paired with cool evenings that preserve acidity. The resulting wines are exceptionally well-balanced, with a full-bodied profile complemented by firm tannins. Decant to drink now or age up to ten years.  DeLille Cellars is a prestigious Washington State wine producer, founded in 1992. DeLille was one of the first five wineries in the state to gain a 5-star rating for excellence from Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate. They are now located in Woodinville.
