100% certified organic and biodynamic Pinot Grigio from estate vineyards in Colognola ai Colli, about 10 miles east of Verona. Hand harvested, fermented and aged in stainless steel. 12.5% alcohol.
Light, fresh, fruity and easy-drinking, as Pinot Grigio should be! Citrus, pear, peach and pineapple all make an appearance against soft floral notes. Light in body, dry and smooth, with a juicy, fruity, crisp finish.
“Corte del Pozzo” or “Court of the Well” is the entry-level line from Fasoli Gino. The winery wounded in 1925 in Colognola ai Colli, about 10 miles east of Verona, when Amadio Fasoli planted his first vines and delivered demijohns of wine to local taverns using a horse and cart. In the 1970s, Gino Fasoli took over the family winery and expanded production. Shortly after, he developed an allergy to the chemical treatments used in the vineyard, and it became clear that a change was needed. They began the conversion to organic farming in the early 1980s, when very few believed in it. Today, they also follow biodynamic and regenerative practices to restore balance to the soil and protect the ecosystem. Fourth generation Matteo Fasoli is now running the estate.
