100% Sauvignon Blanc from this region adjacent to Chablis, with the same Kimmeridgian and Portlandian limestone soils. This region is the only Sauvignon Blanc made in Burgundy! Fermented and aged in steel with four months on the lees. 12.5% alcohol. This family-owned cooperative was established in 1923 by a group of winegrowers in Chablis Today, La Chablisienne spans over 200 winegrowing families and almost 3,500 acres of vines. The nose is clean and crisp, with white peach aromas layered over citrus oil, fresh-cut grass, white mushroom and stone. On the palate, the wine offers good texture and acidity, leading to a light and refreshing finish. Fairly prickly and flinty.
91 points, Wine Enthusiast. "The nose opens with enticing aromas of brioche, nectarine, honeydew melon and quince that draw you in and keep you there. Rich in texture, the wine brings confident, well-integrated fruit unapologetically to the fore with a subtle, honey-suckle-infused acidity that evens out the finish. Pair with more complex dishes including quiche, goat-cheese tart, and rosemary chicken."
