100% Pinot Noir, farmed organically (uncertified). The fruit here is coming from the Arroyo Grande Valley, Sta. Rita Hills and the Santa Maria Valley. Hand harvested and vinified separately. 25% whole clusters, with the exception of the Arroyo Grande fruit, which was destemmed. Each single vineyard lot was aged separately for 13 months in neutral 59gal barrique, before coming together in tank one moon before bottling. 13.2% alcohol. 2,598 cases made. Light, fresh and juicy with notes of red berry fruits, crushed flowers, clove, graphite, dark chocolate and forest floor and spices. Very balanced and elegant. You could easily chill this a bit if you want! Land of Saints is a collaboration between three winemakers and longtime friends — Angela Osborne, Jason Osborne, and Manuel Cuevas — who met during the 2013 harvest in California.
