100% sustainable Chardonnay sourced from Parducci’s estate vineyards. Aged in a combination of stainless steel, French and Hungarian oak. 14.5% alcohol.
Luminous golden color with an enticing bouquet of lemon meringue, vanilla cream, and honeysuckle married with a kiss of sage flowers. Soft notes of lemon carry through from the nose to the palate, intertwining with green apple, golden kiwi, and warmer notes of honeycomb, almond, and graham cracker crust. Light to medium weight in body, this is a fresh and juicy wine that culminates in a clean, silky finish.
Parducci was founded in Ukiah, CA, by Adolph Parducci in 1932. Adolph, born in Tuscany in 1887, emigrated to the United States with his family in the early 1900s. They settled in Mendocino County, attracted by its potential for agriculture. Despite its founding during Prohibition and the challenges of the Great Depression, it remains the longest-running winery in Mendocino County. Parducci is widely recognized for its sustainable farming practices. The tasting room, lined in brick with low ceilings and soft lights, is a perfect little cave-like environment to get out of the summer heat, sip wine and chat about sustainability practices. Or head for the terrace overlooking the vineyards and organic gardens, complete with contented chickens.
