45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Petite Sirah, 11% Malbec, 5% Syrah, all from the Caton Vineyard, farmed using certified sustainable practices across multiple elevations and exposures within Moon Mountain District. Aged 18 months in French oak barrels (60% new). 14.8% alcohol. 467 cases made. Alluring aromas of wild black cherry, anise, and cocoa rise from the glass, supported by deep indigo color and immediate aromatic intensity. The palate is soft yet expansive, delivering dark fruit layered with toasted oak and savory spice. Despite its richness, the wine maintains a silky, generous mouthfeel, with flavors unfolding gradually before finishing exceptionally long. Approachable now with a 60–90 minute decant. Built for aging, this wine should evolve beautifully over 10–15 years.
