100% sustainable Nebbiolo, from the youngest vines in the estate’s vineyards in Treiso. 50% of the fruit goes through carbonic maceration, thus brightening the aromatic profile with a burst of juicy raspberry followed by red flowers. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in stainless steel and bottle before release, this is a vibrant, charming and chillable Nebbiolo. Blackberry, red berries, rose petals, leather and tar, all wrapped up in a lightweight frame with robust tannins and acidity. Excellent value on this Langhe Nebbiolo. Ca’ del Baio is now on its fourth generation, with sisters Paola, Valentina and Federica following in the footsteps of their parents Giulio and Luciana. Together they farm 77 acres of estate vineyards mostly in the villages of Barbaresco and Treiso.
