100% sustainably grown and hand harvested Aglianico from the Mother Block Vineyard in Merbein, Victoria. Indigenous yeasts initiate both primary and secondary (in-bottle) fermentations. No disgorgement or dosage. The wine is intentionally bottled with its lees intact, allowing it to evolve over time and offering drinkers the choice of a clearer pour or a gently cloudy, more textural experience. The nose opens with fresh cranberry, wild strawberry, blood orange peel, and subtle herbal notes. On the palate, fine but lively bubbles carry bright red fruit flavors - tart cherry, pomegranate, and citrus zest - layered with a faintly savory, bready undertone from extended lees contact. The texture is gently creamy without heaviness, and the finish is crisp, dry, and mouth-watering, with a subtle mineral grip .
