2024 Charles Gonnet Savoie Rosé

100% certified organic Gamay. The vines are between 30-50 years old! Hand harvested and fermented with native yeasts in steel. 12.5% alcohol.  6,000 bottles made. This light, bone-dry alpine rosé pours a lovely, very pale pink pink and gives off a classic alpine nose of flowers and herbs alongside fresh strawberry, raspberry and pink grapefruit. Smooth and almost lush on the palate, with balanced acidity. Easy to crush on a hot day. Charles Gonnet is a 30 acre estate in the small cru of Chignin right in the heart of Savoie, where the Gonnet family has been producing wine for generations.
